Someday, I don’t just want you to remember the way you looked, but the way you were loved.
My nana has one of those beautiful, detailed, can’t-make-this-up love stories that every now and then over a holiday, someone will ask her to tell again. Out come the photo albums, and even though we have all heard this story a million times, we are captivated. What a gift it is to be able to feel a deep love that I wasn’t even around for. What a gift it is to hold those photos. That is my why.

It's your mom fixing your veil with trembling hands. Your best friend crying before you’ve even walked down the aisle. Your grandparents holding hands across the table like they’ve done for decades. It’s the kind of day that reminds you what really matters - love, connection, and the people who make your life so full of joy.

Family photos are like little time capsules of the life you’re building together. The way your baby fits perfectly in your arms right now. The missing teeth, the wild giggles, the way your husband looks at your kids like they hung the moon. These moments don’t wait, but they do matter. To me, family photos are about honoring the beautiful, ordinary magic of right now—because one day, these are the memories that will feel like home.
