My nana has one of those beautiful, perfect, quirky, couldn't make this up, straight out of a romcom, sit around the fireplace for hours kind of love stories. Every now and then over a holiday, someone will ask her to tell again. Out come the photo albums, and even though we have all heard this story and seen these photos so many times, we are captivated. What a gift it is to be able to feel a love from a time I wasn't around for, a love that is the reason I'm here. Photographs take us back, they are evidence of the way we loved each other and the people we loved. They make us go, "oh my gosh remember when...!"
and when done right, they remind us of what is really important in a time when it is so easy to let the day to day take over the magic in our lives.
I believe with my whole heart that the life & love you've built is a work of art, and I truly want you to see your story the way I see it: beautiful, perfect, quirky, couldn't make this up, straight out of a romcom, sit around the fireplace for hours, and uniquely yours. Time is a thief and someday these images are going to be someone's old photos.

Photo trends come and go, but you and your genuine feelings, laughter, tears, whatever it is, will never ever go out of style.
I could just bring all of my couples and families to the same beach or field and run through the same series of poses, but where is the fun in that? There would be no life to those images, and isn't that why we're both here? To hold in your hands proof of a life spent loving, laughing, feeling our feelings, hugging our loved ones, holding each other tight, running barefoot through the sand, taking tequila shots, watching our babies giggle and learn about the world, and everything in between.
